The Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster is pleased to offer Studentships for prospective PhD students starting in September 2017.

Located in the heart of London, we have an active research culture led by the Centre for the Study of Democracy (CSD) based in the Department. This includes the internationally recognised CSD Encounter as well as a variety of research seminars and conferences.

  • One fee waiver (Home/EU rate) and £16,000 per year for three years
  • Up to two fee waivers (Home/EU rate) and £5,000 per year for three years

Please note that while overseas fee paying students may apply, the fee waived would be at the home/EU rate with the remainder of the fee paid by the candidate. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake some teaching duties as part of the Studentship.
